Planning a Steamboat Bachelorette or Bachelor Party: Music, Après and Late Nights

Pick the night that matters most
Most groups don’t need entertainment every night. Pick one night for the main event, usually the second or third night, when everyone has arrived and settled in, and plan everything else around it.
Three ways to do the big night
- A party at the rental. Hire a DJ to bring sound and lights to the house, so the group has its own dance floor without waiting in lines.
- A silent disco at the rental. If your rental has quiet hours, wireless headphones let the party keep going after 10 pm without bothering the neighbors.
- A night out. Start at the rental with a pre-party set, then head into town.
Après counts too
An après set on the deck or in the living room right after the lifts close is one of the easiest ways to kick off the weekend. Two hours of music while everyone comes off the mountain sets the tone for the whole trip.
